Last month, contents for Season Pass 4 ended with the release of Attack on Titan costumes and stage. This month, as anticipated, Season Pass 5 is released together with a new pack of DLC costumes for Dead or Alive 5 Last Round (DOA5LR).
This new pack is called “Flower Costumes”, which are actually floral bikinis for 17 female characters, including the guest character Naotora Ii from Samurai Warriors. However, costumes for Virtua Fighter characters (Pai and Sarah), and Alpha-152 are not included.
This costume set is also the first pack included in Season Pass 5 and is released for PS4/ Xbox One/ PC (Steam). The prices are US$2.99 (¥308) for each costume and US$19.49 (¥2099) for the bundle set of all 17 costumes. PC version is only sold in pack, not separately.
One thing to note is that these costumes are “destructible”. To be specific, it is actually the flower petals that are breakable. The petals scatter when hit by a Critical Burst or Power Blow. The destructible feature is not available for PC.
Next month DLC will be a collaboration with another famous fighting game series – The King of Fighters (KOF). A popular character from the series, Mai Shiranui (不知火 舞), will be released for DOA5LR as a playable character via paid DLC, along with her Debut Costume pack. The collaboration also includes a KOF mashup costume pack, but it will only have 6 costumes, according to Season Pass 5 listing.
