The new character for Dead or Alive 5 Last Round (DOA5LR) has been fully revealed. She is Naotora Ii, a guest character from the Samurai Warriors (Sengoku Musou, 戦国無双) series. She will be released on 17th March as paid DLC for PS4/ Xbox One and on 29th March for PC (Steam). She will also be playable in Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate Arcade (DOA5UA) in Japan at about the same time. Her Debut Costume pack will be released as well.

Dragged into a mysterious portal due to a M.I.S.T. time-travelling experiment, the ruler of Japan’s Warring States era Ii Clan, Naotora Ii emerges in present day next to a competitor of the Dead or Alive fighting tournament. Given no other choice but to fight for her life and keeping her family motto of “Once on the battlefield, one must face the enemy head on” in mind, a determined Naotora sets out to emerge victorious from this strange new challenge.
Fighting Style
Specializing in kick-based attacks, Naotora developed her signature “Ii Style Leg Strikes” fighting style after serving under Yoshimoto Imagawa, who based his techniques on his mastery of the traditional Japanese ball game “Kemari”. The quick and powerful strikes from her long legs make her a formidable rival to anyone who steps into the ring.

New Stage
The new stage is revealed to be Azuchi, a returning stage from Dead or Alive 3. It is a multi-tier stage with 3 levels. The stage will be included for free with the upcoming v1.05 update, releasing on the same day (17th March) as the character. The stage is only available for PS4/ Xbox One but not for PC and Arcade.
Samurai Warriors Costumes
As expected, the collaboration does not end with the character alone. The next set of DLC costumes is also from the Samurai Warriors series. The 30-costume pack will have costumes for everyone except Virtua Fighter characters. Alpha-152 will also get one. The release date has been pushed back to 29th March and available for PS4/ Xbox One/ PC (Steam). The price is not announced in the west but it will be selling for ¥3980 in Japan, which should translate to about US$38. Individual costume costs ¥206, which means US$1.99 each.
