Almost at the end of Dead or Alive Festival 2016, DOA series producer Hayashi announced some development updates for Dead or Alive 5 Last Round (DOA5LR).
First, it was revealed that July DLC is a collaboration (costumes and stage) with Attack on Titan releasing on 19 July, which is also the last set of contents from Season Pass 4.
Next, Season Pass 5 will be released in August that includes an exclusive “School Teacher” costume for NyoTengu. The exact contents and total number of costumes included in the pass are not clear at the moment.
AUG The DLC costumes to kick-start Season Pass 5 in August are called “Flower Costumes”, which are actually swimsuits for the female characters. SEP In September, there will be another big collaboration. This one is with another famous fighting game series – The King of Fighters (KOF). The “big” thing is, a popular character from the series, Mai Shiranui (不知火 舞), will join DOA5LR as a new character (via paid DLC). This will make her the 36th character in DOA5LR. The collaboration of course also includes a KOF mashup costume pack. Some of these costumes will be destructible. OCT In October, the DLC will be the traditional fan-designed Halloween costumes. There will most likely be costumes for every characters, which would make this the biggest DLC pack yet. NOV No mention of what will be available in November. It could be another collaboration or just an original set. DEC In December, the collaboration is with AQUAPLUS (read more at Wikipedia). There will be costumes from different Anime/game series under the Aquaplus label to conclude the DLC releases for this year.
