Dead or Alive 5 Last Round (DOA5LR) and Senran Kagura collaboration costumes are to be released on 24th of March, with some regions within the same week. These 16 costumes will be released for all platforms: PS4/ PS3/ Xbox One/ Xbox 360. Senran Kagura is a video game series developed by Tamsoft and produced by Marvelous Inc.
This new set of paid DLC consists of costumes worn by the female characters in the upcoming series “Senran Kagura: Estival Versus ”, which is being released for PS4/ PS Vita on 26th of March in Japan. Costumes will be included for all female casts in DOA5LR, except Virtua Fighter characters (Sarah & Pai) and Alpha-152.
On the PS4/ Xbox One, just like in the game Senran Kagura, a feature called “Costume Destruction” will be implemented. As you fight, the costumes will start to “tear” to a certain extent. This will no doubt, for the first time in DOA series, add a new type of entertainment value for some players. For unspecific reasons, this feature will not be on PS3/ Xbox 360.
Also, according to Famitsu, these costumes are more expensive than any previously released DLC. Individual costume is priced at ¥307 (US$2.99) instead of the usual ¥206 (US$1.99). The bundle of all 16 costumes is also more expensive at ¥3428 (US$33.99). As a comparison, the Halloween 2014 set consists of 31 costumes is selling at ¥2880 (US$27.99). This set of outfits is also included in the DOA5LR Season Pass for PS4/ Xbox One. The next DLC in line will be the third volume of Ninja Clan costumes releasing in April.
