DOA5 Last Round x Gust Swimwear

This month’s costume pack for Dead or Alive 5 Last Round (DOA5LR) is now available for purchase.

This new pack is the 2nd collaboration with Gust, the game developer behind popular RPG games such as the Atelier series and Nights of Azure. Gust development team is part of Koei Tecmo Games since 2014. The first set of Gust mashup costumes was released last year in May. The difference is that this pack specializes in swimsuits, which has costumes from Atelier Totori, Atelier Firis, Atelier Rorona, Ar Nosurge and the upcoming Nights of Azure 2.

These swimwear are available for the usual 17 female characters including Naotora Ii. This is the first time a guest character is getting a collaboration costume. The fact is, Naotora is a character from Samurai Warriors, which is also owned by Koei Tecmo Games, hence the mashup is possible, but Team NINJA did not do it until now. Female guest characters from other companies are excluded.

As usual, the release is for PS4/ Xbox One/ PC (Steam). Individual costume is priced at US$1.99 (¥206) and the bundle set of all 17 costumes is US$19.49 (¥2099). PC version is only sold in pack. And this price is the lowest for a collaboration set, which usually costs above US$30. In fact, it is the same price as a non-collaboration set. The first set of Gust mashup costumes costs US$31.99 (¥3429).

This is also the 6th and last pack included in Season Pass 6 (SP6). Pass owners do not need to buy again.

The next known DLC pack after this is the fan-designed Halloween Costumes 2017 to be released in October. The design contest was held until last month. Whether there will be a Season Pass 7 with new DLC releasing from July to September is still unknown at the moment. Stay tuned for further announcements.
