As previously reported, any upcoming new swimsuits for Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 (DOAX3) will be added to the Owner Shop in the game and will be time-limited.
“Clam” & “Whirlwind”
The first set starts releasing on 14 April, which consists of one “Premium” swimsuit and one “Normal” swimsuit. Both swimsuits come in 9 color variations and are available for purchase until 27 April. The main difference between the two, other than design, is that the Premium swimsuit can only be purchased with Premium Tickets and the Normal one can be bought with just the in-game Zack Money.
To recap, Premium Tickets (PT) are paid DLC sold on the PS Store. PT come in bundles of 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 and 300. The prices (in Japanese Yen) start from ¥540 for 10 tickets. The Premium swimsuit costs 16 PT for one color variation, so it converts to ¥864, which is roughly US$8. Expensive for only one costume in one color, no doubt.
“Eel” & “Peanut”
The 2nd set, again consists of one Premium (shown below) and one two Normal (no image yet) swimsuits in 9 colors each, has already been announced to be available from 28 April to 11 May. It seems like Team NINJA will be releasing 2 swimsuits once every 2 weeks on the Owner Shop.
[Updated 21 Apr] It has been announced on Twitter that the Premium swimsuit below will be changed to Normal swimsuit when release. This means that it could be bought with in-game Zack Money instead of Premium Tickets. No reason was given for the change.

One thing to note, the fine print on the official website states that these time-limited swimsuits may be re-released at a later date. So if you are not sure whether to buy now or don’t have enough cash, you can always wait for the next round.
