On the third day (19th September) of Tokyo Game Show 2015, Team NINJA producer Hayashi was on stage at Koei Tecmo booth and announced the result of the Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 (DOAX3) character voting. (More details of the voting and the game can be read at our previous DOAX3 announcement post.)

Characters who are left out of the game are Leifang, Tina, Mila, Rachel, Christie and Lisa.
As mentioned on the official website, first place character (Marie Rose) will get an exclusive bonus costume for the first-print edition of DOAX3 Fortune (PS4 version) and second place (Honoka) will get one for DOAX3 Venus (PS Vita version).
DOAX3 is still scheduled to release only in Japan/Asia and the release timeframe is announced to be Spring 2016 (around March to April), this is about the same release time as the new character for Dead or Alive 5 Last Round.
DOAX3 Fortune (PS4 version) is also revealed to support PlayStation VR, the virtual reality headset by Sony, which is previously known as “Project Morpheus”. PlayStation VR currently has no price and release date yet but is coming out in the first half of 2016.
