Dead or Alive Festival 2016

As mentioned before, Team NINJA is going to organize another Dead or Alive (DOA) Festival this year. It is an international fan-thanksgiving event for the DOA series. Last year, the event was held in August.

This year, the festival will be held on 9th July (Saturday) at Tokyo, Japan. The exact location is at the Osaki Bright Core Hall, which is the same as last year. Admission is free.

The programs are more or less the same. There will be a tournament as the main event, together with a cosplay contest, an in-game photo contest and the new illustration contest. To join these contests, you need to submit your entries in advance. For the tournament, you have to pre-register.

Any DOA fans can also just go there as a spectator without participating in any contests, but of course you must first pay for a plane ticket to Tokyo if you are not in Japan. There will also be free stuff given to attendees.

This year also marks the 20th Anniversary of the DOA series. The first DOA was released in October 1996 in the arcades.
